In Episode 2: The Oathbreaker, we follow a group of young Mau Mau initiates on their first mission—a bold raid on the home of Captain Charles Elliot to steal rifles. What begins as a daring act of defiance against colonial rule quickly turns into a harsh lesson on the costs of resistance. While their mission is a success, victory comes with retaliation, and they soon realize the gravity of their commitment to the fight for freedom. This thrilling episode immerses audiences in the tension, camaraderie, and danger faced by the Mau Mau fighters, bringing Kenya’s rich history to life in a way that is both engaging and educational.

This Mashujaa Day, we’re honouring our heroes by telling their stories in a fun and exciting way. As an extended experience, we’re offering our audiences a choice between two dynamic events: a silent disco deejay set on Saturday, October 19th, or a stand-up comedy show on Sunday, October 20th. Whether you want to enjoy Double O's awesome mix while you paint or enjoy some laughs with the comic Maina Munene, we have something special lined up for you after the film.
