Heels Connect October: Women & Wealth Brunch
Saturday 26th October, from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm at Capital Club, Westlands Road, Westlands.
Focus: An event aimed at creating a space for women to learn about investing, saving, and also the best strategy to scale up businesses to attract investors. The event will intentionally schedules moments for you to connect with like minded women including the speakers through a curated opportunity that encourages meaningful connections and mingling. However the pinnacle moments of the event will include the following pillars:
1. Financial Literacy Practical Skill Building session: We have partnered with Sunlight for their Shika Na More program and they will be facilitating a session on how to recognise the financial challenges that will affect your progress and through that we will have an extensive session on setting financial goals
2. High level discussion with Industry experts on the topic - "How to triple one's income beyond side hustles": Speakers will provide insights on the future of finance, where to invest and opportunities that actually lead to growth of one's income and businesses attracting investors as well as speaking on the financial mistakes to identify and the how to overcome financial challenges. Some of the Speakers will include:
- Faustina Nging'a, Lead Consultant and Business Coach - WYLDE and Access to Finance Coach for Graca Machel Trust
- Cris Njoki, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Ikojn
- Charity Munyori, Senior Manager of Women and Youth Banking, Equity Bank
3. The Sister's Market: They will be some women run businesses selling and promoting their products. This will be an opportunity for them to also garner new clientele for their businesses.
4. Entrepreneur Program: Out of the list of attendees of the event, we will identify 40 to 50 Female entrepreneurs to participate in our pilot program for capacity building of developing financial and business skills to help them grow and expand their business. This is aligns with Sisterspeaks Global mission to develop an exclusive community of certified lucrative and refined African Women SMEs that get the opportunity to unlock investment opportunities through learning. The pilot a masterclass program will take place in First quarter of 2025.
